Contentious Trusts and Probate Solicitor

This new Contentious Trusts & Probate Senior Associate role comes with strong Partnership prospects for the right candidate. Although the firm is tier one for private clients, and they have a strong contentious probate and trusts team, this new Central London (West End) team will place you working alongside one Partner. The firm has solid aspirations to grow this offering given a substantial increase in contentious instructions.

This role would perhaps suit a Senior Solicitor that is seeking a platform to Partnership, at a top firm. You might feel you have hit a glass ceiling or might be in a top-heavy team.

The role

The firm is seeking a Senior Contentious Trusts and Probate Lawyer to join their West End, London office.

The firm has a first-class reputation for providing a City firm level of service and expertise, you will work as part of a highly regarded team. The firm acts in all areas of trust and estate litigation and is increasingly known for its cross-border and international work involving issues of foreign assets, domicile, and residence.

You will be at the forefront of a new department in the West End office, but part of the firms wider contentious private client team.

This role could offer the perfect springboard to Partnership.

Requirements

  • You will be at least five years PQE - ideally, you should be handling a 100% caseload in contentious trusts and probate matters, but the firm is open-minded if you are dealing with a more mixed caseload
  • You should have first-class client and people skills
