Contract Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Electrical Maintenance Engineer – 9-month Fixed Term Contract

The role – Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Based from the iconic Shieldhall packaging facility in Renfrewshire, which extends across more than 40 acres, this is a first class 9-month Fixed Term opportunity for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer on an Early and Back rotating double shift pattern. You will have a dynamic and varied role and will be responsible for undertaking all elements of Maintenance Engineering within a dynamic, fast paced production environment.
Your duties and responsibilities will include;
- Fault finding
- Emergency breakdown and repair
- Planned Preventative Maintenance
- New plant and equipment installation as required
- Supporting continuous improvement activities across all areas of sitewide maintenance
You will have undertaken a traditional apprenticeship and ideally possess an HNC in Electrical Engineering. You will have proven experience managing all elements of plant and equipment maintenance, ideally within a manufacturing, production or associated environment.
You will be able to demonstrate first class fault finding and plant repair experience with a working knowledge of a broad range of fast-moving production plant and equipment.
The shift patterns for the post will be offered on the following basis - Early Shift is 5.30am to 2pm Monday – Thursday, 5.30 - 11.30am on a Friday and Back Shift, 4.00pm to 12 Midnight Monday to Thursday.
