Job Description
Contract Embedded Software Engineer opportunity, with an industry leading electronics company based in Warwickshire. Due to the upcoming launch of a company critical project, working on a new gateway product's development into cloud integration, they are urgently seeking a skilled embedded software contractor.
This role has an indicative OUTSIDE IR35 determination therefore we can accept candidates who would like to operate through their own PSC.
Our client is a global, market leader, specialising in safety critical electronics, working on creating the next generation of safety products. They design and manufacture in the UK and are a globally recognised company, selling into both commercial and industrial markets. This role is offering the opportunity to work fully remotely.
The right Contract Embedded Software Engineer will have the following skills:
- Low level embedded firmware development in Embedded C
- Working on a FreeRTOS platform
- Experience working on MQTT protocols
- Experience in a safety critical industry
- Experience working on Zigbee or IOT protocols is desirable
