Seeking a qualified non-life actuary with an in-depth understanding of Lloyd’s Market to provide general oversight and input to the capital setting process for the syndicate.
You will provide review, challenge and oversight of key model changes, returns to Lloyd’s and overall reasonableness of capital outputs.
You will also provide review and challenge to the quarterly reserving process whilst assisting with the assessment of reserve uncertainty, in particular the modelling and parameterisation of reserve risk within the Syndicate capital model.
In addition, you will provide ad hoc support where needed to assist underwriters with the pricing of individual risks and model support/development as needed.
The successful candidate will possess good IT skills and in particular, good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and dedicated Actuarial software such as ResQ and Remetrica.
