Role Overview:


As a Maintenance Manager, you'll oversee the upkeep and repair of M&E equipment across various blue-chip contracts within our Resident and Mobile Portfolio at SMS. Your responsibilities include ensuring asset operation, maintaining records in compliance with industry standards, and delivering a Smart and world-class service that inspires client and team confidence.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage commercial and financial aspects of contracts.
  • Lead a diverse engineering team.
  • Monitor and control PPM and reactive statistics.
  • Produce monthly reports and energy reports.
  • Ensure statutory certification compliance.
  • Manage team in accordance with SMS Policies, including health & safety.
  • Optimize staffing levels for cost-effectiveness and service excellence.


Candidate Requirements:

  • Must hold recognized industry qualifications in Electrical (BS7671 18th Edition), Electrical (C&G2391 Inspection and Testing), or C&G Mechanical & HVAC.
  • Knowledge of technical standards and business-critical services.
  • Preferably hold IOSH or NEBOSH certification.
