Job Description
The Redline Group have an URGENT requirement for a Contract Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join a defence company, based in Northamptonshire. They can offer part remote for this 2-3 month initial contract.
This role has an indicative OUTSIDE IR35 determination therefore we can accept candidates who would like to operate through their own PSC.
A customer unrivalled in intrinsically safe systems, they have evolved to become an established business with one of the most extensive product ranges in their industry. You will be tasked with completing crucial audits on embedded software to DO-178C standards for a key customer of theirs. This role will also involve working closely with designated engineering representatives within their customer, and providing regular updates.
As the Contract Software Quality Assurance Engineer based in Northamptonshire, you will need:
- Proven knowledge of and DO-178C standards and processes
- Experience performing audits
- Able to prepare for Stages of Involvements (SOI) audits
- Able to achieve BPSS security clearance
