This is your opportunity to join the prestigious Masterfix team working across the Greater London area.
We are looking for a commercially astute manager to run their own project work-streams.
And by run, we mean sourcing the projects, scoping, pricing, scheduling, putting a team of trades people together, managing on-site activity, closing projects out right the way through to invoicing and payment.
This role is like running your own small project business, with the support of the Masterfix team.
This is a “real”, “boots on the ground” role, that would suit someone from a trades background that has run their own, full life cycle projects.
The commercial aspects of this role can not be underestimated as the role will be sales and margin target driven. Hence an understanding of managing your own profit and loss account is essential.
Managing multiple projects ranging from £1,000 to £250,000 in the residential, commercial and retail/leisure sectors the successful candidate will currently be in a role that manages multiple projects end-to-end.
Managing our own, in-house labour is key, and as such, the successful candidate will be currently in a role that exposes them to this. We, very rarely, sub-contract projects out, so you will need to be able to mange the team yourself on a daily basis.
The successful candidate will also be the focal point for their various clients so an ability to work with clients on a face-to-face basis is critical. Here at Masterfix we pride ourselves on the great service that we provide to our wide and varied customer base.
An ability to manage your own workload is key as is being able to cope under the pressure of managing numerous projects that are different project stages.
Masterfix Offers:
- £50,000 - £60,000 per year basic depending upon experience.

Must Haves:
- Trades background.
- Commercially astute.
- Familiar with pulling project scopes and project pricing documentation together.
- Ability to run multiple projects from end-to-end.
- Capability to problem solve and think clearly under pressure.
- Able to drive sales and margin in a target driven environment.
- Talent to work alone as well being part of a wider team.
- Experience of managing in-house labour.
- As strong background in managing health and safety risks.
- Strong IT skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to plan and organise.
