About the Role

We have an excellent opportunity for a Construction Lawyer with a minimum of 1 year post-qualified experience to join us as a Contracts Manager.

The Contracts Manager is responsible for reviewing appointment documents and negotiating amendments for Members of the Wren Insurance Association Limited. You will be joining a large team of solicitors and legal executives. Together you will assist Wren’s Members to be appointed on terms falling within their cover and handle any resulting negotiations.


Your Responsibilities

  • Reviewing Members’ appointments and other related documentation and advising them of the coverage position
  • Proposing amendments where necessary to those documents to bring them within cover
  • Negotiating amendments with the Member’s client and/or the client’s advisers (if required)
  • Participating in meetings with Members to explain coverage issues
  • Delivery of presentations to Members on coverage issues


About You

Knowledge/Experience

  • Non-contentious construction experience from a law firm or an in-house legal team
  • Familiar with professional indemnity matters relating to construction professionals


Qualifications/Education

  • Legally qualified with a minimum of 1-year PQE (UK or QLTT is desirable)
