Role: Conveyancing Paralegal/Legal Assistant
Location: South East London
Salary: £23k-£27k
My client is at a high street, medium sized firm with a beautiful office in South East London. The firm is known for its lovely atmosphere and great team. They are currently looking to hire a junior paralegal/legal assistant to join their busy Residential Conveyancing Team.
The day-to-day tasks to be carried out in this role will include tasks such as sending quotes, opening files, contract packs and AML checks. Therefore, my client is looking for someone who has had previous experience within residential conveyancing. In this role there will also be training provided in areas to help broaden your knowledge. My client is looking for a confident, friendly and hard working individual to join and support the close knit team on their heavy workload.
This exciting new role is available as the firm are looking to gain a junior member of support staff who will help assist the residential team as a whole due to the department being so busy. This is a great opportunity to work alongside experienced and highly trained Solicitors in a fast-paced yet friendly environment allowing you to develop your skills further and gain great exposure.
Requirements
A degree from a UK University (2:1 and above).
At least one year working in conveyancing at a firm in England.
Experience using case management systems.
Ambitious and hardworking attitude.
