Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Property Solicitor to join our well-established Property department within a modern and growing legal firm.
Responsibilities:
- Handling residential and commercial transactions, including Freehold and Leasehold sales and purchases, remortgages, lease assignments, surrenders and grants of new leases.
- Advising and liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other relevant parties.
- Conducting and reviewing searches, drafting and reviewing legal documents including leases, contracts, transfers and mortgage deeds.
- Reporting to mortgage lenders.
- Carrying out legal research and keeping up-to-date with all changes in property law and protocol.
Requirements
- Qualified solicitor/conveyancer.
- In depth knowledge of conveyancing law and practical procedures.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage a caseload effectively, independently and to meet deadlines.
- A commitment to client care and maintaining client relationships.
- An enthusiastic attitude towards work and a willingness to continuously keep up to date with changes.
