Fantastic opportunity for a Corporate Commercial Solicitor to join a leading law firm in South-East London!

The Firm

Our client is a leading, full-service law firm known for their high quality work and long-established history. They're a well-managed firm with a fantastic work culture and modern premises with an excellent riverside location.

The Opportunity

This is an opportunity for a Corporate Commercial Solicitor with good business judgement and strong interpersonal skills to work alongside the Head of Department on a range of transactional corporate and commercial matters including:

  • Mergers and Acquisitions
  • Joint Ventures
  • Share Buybacks
  • Demergers
  • Reorganisations
  • Management Buy-Outs and Buy-Ins
  • Shareholders' Agreement
  • General advisory work, as well as drafting, negotiating and advising on a variety of commercial contracts

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for a 50/50 split of Corporate Commercial work for a range of clients including light and heavy industrial business owners, retail, land investors and developers.

The new hire will receive excellent support from an experienced team secretary and the firm's professional support lawyer.

Requirements

  • 4-8 years' PQE
  • Experience in handling a range of Corporate Commercial transactions
  • Strong financial and commercial awareness
  • Appetite for business development
  • Individuals with a following are desired but not essential
