Corporate Communications Manager - Automotive Industry

Marketing Communications (Marketing & Communications)

  • Develop comprehensive communication strategies aligned with the Group’s objectives.
  • Formulate key messages and positioning to effectively convey the Group’s brand identity.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with industry journalists, influencers, and media platforms.
  • Manage media inquiries, facilitate media test drives, and act as the primary liaison for media-related matters.
  • Create crisis communication plans and protocols to address potential reputation-related issues.
  • Respond promptly and efficiently to manage and mitigate communication crises.
  • Generate engaging and relevant content, including press releases, articles, advertorials, and social media posts.
  • Ensure all content aligns with the Group’s messaging and branding standards.
  • Plan and execute Public Relations campaigns and initiatives to highlight the Group’s offerings, achievements, and services.
  • Evaluate and report on the impact and effectiveness of Public Relations endeavors.
  • Uphold and enhance the Group’s reputation and image.
  • Coordinate press conferences, product launches, driving experiences, and related events.
  • Manage the communication department’s budget allocation effectively.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics.
  • Utilize market insights to shape communication strategies and identify growth opportunities.
  • Foster positive relationships with stakeholders, including customers, partners, government entities, and industry associations.
  • Cultivate partnerships that support the Group’s objectives.
  • Lead and mentor a team of communication professionals, including Public Relations interns, content creators, and social media managers.
  • Provide regular reports and analyses of communication initiatives to senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards in all communication activities.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications, Journalism, or a related field, with relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 6 years of automotive journalism experience in Singapore.
  • Proficiency in digital and social media marketing, as well as leading Public Relations or event agencies.
  • Experience in team management is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of the automotive industry.
  • Solution-oriented with excellent writing and interpersonal skills.
