Are you a newly qualified or junior corporate solicitor looking for a new challenge? Hunter Savage is currently partnering with this leading national law firm to recruit a corporate lawyer into the Tier 1 corporate team of this leading law firm to based in their office in Edinburgh. This role would suit a solicitor NQ to 2 years with previous corporate experience.

The team is led by two key corporate Partners who are leaders in their field and are regular speakers at Global M & A and PE conferences and who have been ranked numerous times. The Role
Working as part of this talented team you will get involved in a broad range of corporate transactional work to include M & A, joint ventures, corporate reorganisations, investments, shareholder & investment agreements. You will also advise clients on a broad range of corporate governance issues such as Directors conflict of interest, board composition, trading issues and shareholder relations.
The Person
You will ideally meet the following criteria
- Qualified Solicitor - NQ to 2 years
- Previous corporate experience within a commercial firm
- Strong legal drafting skills with some knowledge of corporate documents
- Collegiate approach and able to work well as part of a team
- Commercial awareness and ability to understand commercial clients and how they run their business
