Job Description
The Cost Accountant duties will include:
- Delivering cost recovery process as per agreed time lines, resolving internal and external issues on cost recovery for services that are recharged to government departments.
- Overseeing and managing budget management and forecasting for delivery of services - working closely with budget holders, service delivery teams and direct line reports
- Managing month end reporting and process.
- Preparing financial models to price projects, products and mixed deliverables.
- Providing support with data analysis and narrative for government reporting.
The Successful Applicant
The successful Cost Accountant will be a Qualified Accountant with good technical accounting skills who has previous line management experience to manage three staff.
Your exposure will include relevant experience working in managing cost recovery and include a full range of finance cycles (monthly, quarterly, annually). You will need to be a confident user of Excel.What's on Offer
A salary range from £58,000 to £64,000 plus an excellent benefits package including civil service pension scheme.
