Job Title: Cover Supervisor Location: North East England, County Durham, Hartlepool Job Type: Temporary, expected to work Full-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £90 - £110 Per day Job Duties: Supervising students in the absence of a teacher Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring a positive learning environment Delivering pre-prepared lesson plans Assisting students with their work and providing support Reporting back on student progress and any issues to teaching staff Required Qualifications: GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics Previous experience working with children or young people Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Education: Minimum of GCSEs in English and Mathematics Experience: Previous experience working with children or young people Knowledge and Skills: Strong communication skills Ability to manage classroom behaviour Adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced environment Preferred Qualifications: Teaching Assistant qualification First Aid certification Working Conditions: This role involves working in a school environment and may require standing for long periods of time. The candidate must be able to handle challenging behaviour from students and work collaboratively with teaching staff.
