Job descriptionCover Supervisor Location: SnaithPay Scale: £95 - £115 per dayStart: September 2024Contract: Part-Time/Full-Time GSL education is looking for a reliable, honest and hardworking individual to join as a Cover Supervisor in the flourishing school community in Snaith. Job summary:As a Cover Supervisor you will be responsible for the smooth running of the school's operations by overseeing courses while teaching staff is temporarily absent. You will oversee classroom behavior, keep things in a healthy learning atmosphere, and assist students with their assignments. Key responsibilities:Manage and supervise classrooms when the regular teacher is not present.Convey pre-arranged example plans and assets given by instructing staff.Create a positive learning environment and ensure that students adhere to their assignments.Offer students assistance and support as needed.Communicate effectively with teaching staff and school authority.Help with different obligations as required, including test invigilation and administrative tasks. Requirements:Previous experience working in an educational setting is desirable but not essentialStrong classroom management abilities.The ability to keep lessons fun and adapted to all children's learning needsA proactive and adaptable way to deal with work.A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people We welcome applications from applicants who are motivated to take on a rewarding role in education by being a part of the supportive school community in Snaith.
