- We'll look to you to support Coverage & Sector Content senior bankers with origination activity, including debt financing, risk management, trade finance and transaction banking for our large corporate Tech, Media & Telecoms (TMT) customers
- You’ll be contributing towards the development and execution of our sector strategy, working towards our goal of being the financing and banking solutions partner, and providing an excellent banking service
- It’s a critical role, where your work will directly support the bank to maintain excellent customer relationships
As a Content & Sector Content Associate, you’ll be supporting the growth of our TMT business. You’ll provide analytical capability to understand customer and sector requirements and deliver appropriate solutions to meet those requirements.
Working alongside specialists in all aspects of debt financing and risk management activity, you'll present the bank as the leading partner to customers. You’ll also develop key skills and knowledge in corporate finance and the TMT sector to drive our strategy, both in the UK and US.
You’ll also be:
- Supporting your colleagues in all aspects of commercial strategy, as well as in the growth of both internal and client stakeholder relationships
- Developing a good understanding of all aspects of strategy and core NatWest product offerings and applying those to our client growth strategy
- Supporting your colleagues in creating sector led content to support client conversations
- Supporting the assessment and execution of event driven and structured financing opportunities
- Developing and enhancing the banks client relationships in the large-cap TMT sector while working closely with senior sector bankers
We’re looking for someone with solid technical skills, paired with knowledge of sector coverage banking or origination of financial solutions to large corporates. You'll be a strong team player with the ability to work in a high performing sector coverage team.
You’ll also need:
- A strong action based focus to deliver against tight timelines
- Strong analytical, numerical, modelling and IT skills, including Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- A practical understanding of risk management disciplines, including credit risk
- The ability to build a good network across the bank
- Excellent communication, time management and stakeholder management skills
