Roles & Responsibilities


As the Creative Director, you’ll lead a team producing social-first video content from ideation, planning, creative direction, and shooting mobile-shot content.


You’ll deliver BAU and campaign content primarily for TikTok & Instagram but will also sit across YouTube, X and Facebook.


You’ll also have 2x Social Creatives who report directly to you, with an additional 2+ indirect reports who report to the Social Creatives.


Our Social Content offering is one of our fastest growing, with more brands seeking TikTok and social-first content agencies - so it’s an exciting time to join us in our next stage of growth.


You’ll be responsible for:


  • You'll lead a team of talented creatives, guiding them through the intricacies of crafting social-first video content that leaves a lasting impact.
  • Lead on social-first campaign strategies.
  • Nurture the potential of your team, imparting your wisdom and expertise to help them hone their skills and unleash their full creative potential.
  • As the final gatekeeper, you'll ensure that every piece of content created by your team meets our high standards and aligns seamlessly with our client's visions.
  • Support with brief writing and art direction.
  • Join on shoots from time to time to lead our Content Creators.
  • Liaise with clients to ensure you understand their brand and are able to lead them in bringing their social identity to life.
  • Leading on pitches, showcasing your creative ideas and strategy to potential clients.
  • Working closely with other department leads to ensure team collaboration is happening consistently across all departments.
  • Line-management of manager-level creatives and supporting and overseeing their management of exec-level creatives.


Requirement:


  • You understand social-first content and platforms inside out.
  • 7+ years of experience in Social.
  • A portfolio that shows your ability to deliver mobile-produced social content that performs.
  • A passion for and up-to-date understanding of social trends and pop culture.
  • Base-level experience in editing on Premiere Pro, Capcut etc.
  • You are creative in your nature and always strive to create unique and impactful content and campaigns for social communities.
  • You have led a team before and are passionate about fostering an honest, proactive and transparent team environment.
  • You understand the technical requirements that content must meet for performance on social media.
  • A collaborative team player who enjoys working within their direct team and the wider marketing organisation.
  • You are an organised individual with high standards and an ambition to create the best possible work you can with your team.
