More about your role
To support the Financial Transactions Manager in providing a professional and fully comprehensive Credit Control Service across all group companies, reporting and providing advice and financial direction on credit control matters pertaining to those companies.
You will lead the team with various aspects of income allocation and debt collection. This will include excellent negotiation skills and regular communication in chasing overdue debts. You will sense check and approve new customers, allocate income, issue monthly statements and reminder letters and reconcile customer accounts. You will need to be comfortable communicating with different types of customers, both internal and external and have the ability to resolve queries effectively and efficiently.
Please note: This position is a hybrid role and does require a basic DBS

More about you
We are looking to attract individuals that are enthusiastic, hard-working, and previous experience in a credit control and finance environment is essential. Due to the nature of this role, we require someone that is I.T. literate and a confident communicator, and comfortable liaising with different types of customers.
Desirable: Problem solving skills, working towards a recognised Finance qualification, Staff management skills.
Essential: Experience within a Finance team either Credit Control, Accounts Receivable or Payable or Assistant Accountant.
