Job Description

Your newpany Bristol based employer but this role can be 100% remote Your new role Undertake credit control activities, in accordance with the defined processes, to ensure prompt premium payment and to achieve agreed KPIs.Ensure timely and accurate allocation of payments to the appropriate policy entries. This includes the coordination and reconciliation of all items on Broker accounts.Escalate to business and/or Team Leader where support needed to improve broker payment performance or resolve queries.Process accounting entries and payment requests in accordance with assigned authority levels.Prepare and issue monthly broker statements of accountsAllocate funds received and request closings and slips from BrokersPursue debtors frequently by telephone, email, teams meeting to secure paymentAnalyse and identify inconsistencies and record errors in booked premium, liaise with underwriters and technical team to correct booked entriesResolution of unallocated cash, provide constructive feedback on issues which have resulted in mis posting to unallocated cashWhat you'll need to succeedExtensive credit control experience.Insurance knowledge/collections experience would be advantageous-Lloyd of London, Reinsurance, Insurance, Financial ServicesA tenacious personality able to handle sometimes difficult phone calls and meetings.Lateral thinker with the ability to generate creative solutions toplex problemsExcellentmunication skills.Ability to manage high work-loads.A team player but able to use own initiative.IT literate with ability to pick up new systems quickly.
