LAA CRIME CATEGORY SUPERVISOR
Modern and dynamic firm are seeking a Criminal Duty Solicitor for a key appointment.
You will be joining a solid and talented team of Solicitors and Barristers who are eminent within their profession. They are seeking a Crime Duty Solicitor with LAA Crime Category Supervisor status to supervise, manage and lead a team.
The successful candidate shall be expected to manage a heavy caseload of very serious offences, frequently with media exposure, and proactively lead and manage a team of highly dedicated lawyers. The role shall require police station attendance and Court appearances to conduct advocacy at first hearings and at Trial as well as meticulous case preparation. The role shall include the management and supervision of other Crime Duty Solicitors and the allocation of their work whilst ensuring compliance with the 2022 Standard Crime Contract.
The successful candidate will have the ability to guide, manage and lead others and will be self-disciplined. You should have a proven track record of excellent management and leadership skills.
