The team is one of the strongest teams specialising in regulatory work in the region.
They are seeking a Senior Associate to deal with the following:
* Preparation of regulatory cases for prosecution including advice on investigation and preparation of evidence
* Advice on interviews under caution, unused material and advice on charge
* Defending regulatory prosecutions often involving fatal accidents
* Conduct of advocacy in Magistrate Courts, Crown Court and at Inquests and Tribunals
* Advising corporate and public sector clients affected by criminal investigation of employees, service users, etc.
* Providing proactive regulatory compliance advice to clients
You will have experience of the following:
* Experience of practicing criminal law
* Appearing regularly before the Criminal and Crown Courts
* Prosecuting or defending regulatory work
This position can be in either Birmingham or Nottingham.
