Job Role: Criminal Justice Service Manager
Salary: £31,212 per annum
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Contract type: Permanent
Location: You will be based in our Yeovil or Taunton office, but travel around Sedgemoor and Bridgewater will also be required
Additional information:
On-call (1 in 4 weeks), £100/week when on-call
The Role:
The successful Criminal Justice Service Manager will manage local Criminal Justice projects, ensuring performance KPI objectives, quality standards and contractual obligations are met through effective management of two local Criminal Justice teams. They will be an effective member of the Operational Team and will maintain a visible and active presence with their Julian House employees, ensuring service improvements are embedded within local projects.
Responsibilities include:
Manage Criminal Justice teams and be responsible for effective delivery of client led practices that deliver positive outcomes
Provide operational management, staff line management of local project teams, including setting of targets, monitoring, and addressing any performance issues
Maintain and provide KPI stats/information to Regional Managers for accurate reporting, on a regular basis
Ensure financial procedures are maintained, and where relevant effectively manage voids keeping re-let times to a minimum, ensure housing benefit and service charge compliance is in place and targets being achieved
Ensure neighbourhood and community relations are maintained responding positively to any concerns when raised.
Embed and support the use of volunteers in the projects.
Qualifications / Requirements:
Relevant experience at managerial level within the sector
Proven ability to manage local teams and projects in a similar role, resulting in high quality client service
A proven knowledge and understanding of the care and support requirements of people experiencing social exclusion including those that have been involved in the Criminal Justice System
Experience working with vulnerable adults, including those that have been involved in the Criminal Justice System
A valid UK driving license and access to own vehicle business insurance will be required for roles involving travel for work
