Description Our IT Tech Team are expanding. We are looking for a CRM Business Analyst to join our wonderful Integration Team!The CRM Business Analyst will play a vital role in shaping the customer relationship management here at Iceland. This role will become the central subject matter expert within the IT Integration Team.The ideal candidate is someone who is able to understand and document the current processes, which includes business workflows and data. As well as facilitate, coordinate, and document detailed business requirements which will become the future blueprint. They will work cross functionally across IT teams, the wider business and with external suppliers. Purpose of Role To document the BAU processes (systems and data as well as business workflows).To facilitate, coordinate and document detailed business requirements which includes User Stories.To aide in the development of innovative solutions to meet business change requirements.To assist internal customers in the management and development of their business processes to create efficiency and value.To assist in the management of key IT projects, work packages from their inception to ensuring they are completed: to the agreed timescales and milestone plan.with the desired deliverables of the appropriate quality.achieving the appropriate benefits schedule.report writing, this will incorporate writing the business terms of reference, writing the business requirements documentation – in readiness for the developers to commence coding.testing: to assist as and when required.Working with the Service Delivery team regarding service transition. Key AccountabilitiesProject or Work Package: Function as IT and first point of contact within the given business area(s), if applicable.Work with business users to identify solutions for business problems or opportunities.Development and the delivery of requirement documentation (TOR, Business Requirements, project life cycle documentation, test scripts & user guides etc.).Once the requirements have been approved, create the Product Backlog (epic’s, features, user stories and tasks).May be asked to coach new starters and business stakeholders when handing over solutions. Day to Day Accountable for the performance of activities related to the support of existing systems.Ensure an Account Management relationship is developed within the given business area of responsibility.Provide regular Project / work package / account management information updates within agree deadlines incorporating project life cycle documentation.Educate and influence the business users in understanding the importance and capability of systems, data management and business process.Keep up to date with industry best practices; provide training and documentation where required.Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.Working with the wider IT team to: o help develop the IT strategy and milestone plan for IT.o help coordinate the delivery of all IT projects.o provide support to other Business Analysts, the wider Squad and Project Mangers etc. KPIs Manage and keep up to date individual project documentation to include the following, if applicable: Proposals and Terms of Reference.Request for Information (RFI) / Request for Proposal (RFP) / Invitation to Tender (ITT) – where applicable.Business Requirements Analysis and relevant Documentation including User Stories.Design documentation.Product backlogs.Implementation and transition plans.Periodic reporting for the IT leadership team.Relevant project documentation and user guides. Adherence to the agreed / approved project: Timescale. Deliverables. Qualifications/Knowledge/Experience Effective communication/people skills and the ability to lead and motivate a team.Excellent communication and coordinating skills will ability to gather and challenge requirements.Experience in CRM platforms such as Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, etc would be an advantage.Experience in working with senior decision-makers.No minimum qualifications are required, although formal qualifications would be an advantage (such as a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field).Experience of working in an agile environment and the management of a product backlog.Knowledge of Microsoft Azure DevOps or Jira.Experience of a fast-paced retailer, supply chain or similar environment.Development Lifecycle - Analysis capability to work with business users and IT development teams to turn business problems into system solution requirements. This includes soft skills such as holistic thinking and problem solving. Management - Skill in organising resources and establishing priorities.Communications and relationship management.
