Job Description
We are looking for our new Key Management System developer, our so called “Master of Keys”. Using Java SE and AWS services, you will craft all the keys and the algorithms required to protect the secure boot, secure update and JTAG unlock, providing a unique identity for all the u-blox products and enabling their secure short-range, terrestrial and non-terrestrial communications.
To be successful in this role, you need to be passionate about coding and to be willing to apply and grow your coding skills in cryptography. You will be developing securely in Java, understanding that the code must expose the smallest possible attack surface and rely as much as possible on AWS secure source of randomness, secure storage and confidential computing.
An important aspect of the role is the capacity to work autonomously and to pro-actively interact with different stakeholders within the company (R&D, Product Strategy, Corporate Security & IT teams..) to understand and anticipate the needs.
This is a unique opportunity to work at the leading edge of Cryptography and Key Management technology. You will work with and be supported by the best crypto experts and Java gurus in our company and learn how to apply cryptography on both Hardware and Software and on the protection of constrained satellites communications.
The location of the role can be in any of our R&D EMEA offices (Italy , UK, Ireland, Finland, Sweden, Belgium, Germany, Switzerland). A valid work permit is required.
