You will be responsible for creating engaging and stimulating Art lessons, catering to a diverse range of students and grade levels  Key Responsibilities: Curriculum Design and Delivery: Collaborate with colleagues to develop a rich Art curriculum that aligns with current artistic trends and encourages students to discover their unique artistic voices. Design and deliver engaging lessons that promote critical thinking, problem-solving, and artistic expression through diverse approaches and techniques. Prepare students for any relevant external examinations  Fostering Artistic Exploration and Development: Create a stimulating learning environment that allows students to experiment with different media, techniques, and artistic styles. Encourage students to develop their creative thinking skills through collaborative projects and artistic problem-solving activities. Provide opportunities for students to showcase their artwork and connect with the wider artistic community (if applicable). Assessment and Support: Implement effective assessment strategies to evaluate students' artistic progress, understanding of art concepts, and personal development within the arts. Offer constructive feedback and personalized guidance to support students in achieving their full artistic potential. Utilize differentiated instruction to foster a truly inclusive learning environment where all students feel encouraged and empowered to express themselves creatively. The Ideal Candidate: A qualified Art Teacher with a minimum of 2 years' successful teaching experience in a secondary school setting. A demonstrated passion for art education and a commitment to fostering creativity, artistic exploration, and individual expression in students. Excellent subject knowledge and a strong foundation in various art disciplines, techniques, and historical contexts. Strong pedagogical skills and the ability to design and deliver engaging, interactive, and differentiated Art lessons. A commitment to high standards and the ability to create a positive, inclusive, and student-centered learning environment. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
