Job Description

Legal and General Retail’s Customer Marketing Team are looking to hire a Customer Data Analyst to support the customer value analytics team in the enhancement of analytical processes through data analysis and automation.

This role will see you responsible for managing and monitoring data and models from different sources, identifying automation opportunities, and transforming data into actionable insights in order to help improve the efficiency and accuracy of the team.

What you'll be doing:

  • Implementing and maintaining analytics test models, tools and automated workflows to enable robust, actionable customer analysis that drives incremental uplifts in NBVA & informs decision making.
  • Utilising customer data, segmentation, data visualisation tools and other techniques to understand and drive value from our customer base.
  • Contributing towards projects to support business initiatives across sales and marketing, utilising the analysis toolkit including new techniques, tools and capability.
  • Delivering end to end customer insight including capturing requests from internal customers, planning analysis, data manipulation and analysis, generating insights and delivering back to stakeholders.
  • Working across the wider team and with the Data Analytics Manager to embed and link insights from different projects in order to drive NBVA growth and inform decision making.
  • Ensuring that all data is stored in a compliant manner with L&G’s data storage policy and that any data transferred is in a secure manner in accordance with L&G’s policy, GDPR and the data protection act, in line with TCF principles.
Qualifications

Who we're looking for:

  • Degree level or equivalent in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics or Data Science or equivalent is desirable but not essential.
  • Experience of deploying an analytical process to deliver robust insights and an excellent understanding analytical best practice across the Customer Analytics team.
  • Demonstrated experience of transferring knowledge to colleagues and maintaining standards of output.
  • Knowledge of SQL coding to manipulate data and Alteryx, Dataiku or alternative analysis tool for analysis is highly desirable.
  • Capability of prioritising output to effectively deliver activities in line with set deadline.
  • Ability to build relationships and communicate in a clear and fluent way to appropriate audience.
