Job Description

Part-time job share. Sales Advisors are central to everything we do at Space Station. You’re our friendly face, providing the information our customers need. You also promote the store within local communities and to businesses. The Banbury site is open from 8:30am-5.00pm Monday to Saturday. The hours are covered by two members of staff (on a two-week rota). Flexibility is required to cover holiday and sickness absence.

  • Excellent communication skills and loves talking to customers
  • A good level of numeracy and self-motivation

What you’ll do

Sales and Customer Service

  • Convert sales and help customers make informed decisions
  • Achieve sales targets by maximising sales opportunities
  • Provide outstanding customer service, always keeping our values in mind

Administration

  • Handle new enquiries, complete contracts and chase debts
  • Liaise with the removals contractor when required, use the removals calendar

Cleaning and General Maintenance

  • Take pride in the site and maintaining excellent standards

Banking and Petty Cash

  • Reconcile cash, credit card, Direct Debit and BACS payments
  • Complete petty cash float checks daily

Charity Participation

  • We’ve committed to Corporate Social Responsibility, meaning we all dedicate 1% of our working time to volunteering or raising funds for charity. This only works out at around 2 hours of your work hours a month, so you can pay it forward while still being paid.
