Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our Medical Insurance Retention team based in Stevenage.

When you join us you will play your part, ensuring we meet and exceed our commercial targets by maximising business and service opportunities from all contacts in a consistent, fair and compliant manner. You will become part of an established, friendly and experienced team who will provide all the support you need to succeed.

This role is a 12 month Fixed term contract with the possibility of it becoming permanent at the end of the contract.

Responsibilities:

  • Processing correspondence
  • Dealing with either inbound or outbound customer calls, understanding the customer’s needs, and providing insurance solutions to that are best suited to their requirements
  • Ensuring calls are answered in a timely professional manner, and that exceptional customer experience is always delivered, and that business standards are adhered to at all time
  • Ensuring that all workflow activity is completed in accordance with approved business processes
  • Complying with all approved procedures, customer service standards and external regulatory bodies.
  • Achieving and maintaining the required competencies for the role.
  • Ensuring that any customer complaints are identified and handled strictly within the company's complaints procedure.

Essential Criteria

  • Experience of the Insurance Industry
  • Engaging personal communication style.
  • Positive attitude, resilient, adaptive, receptive, and articulate.
  • Previous experience in sales or service. We are keen to hear from individuals with a background in public facing industries such as insurance, retail, and hospitality.
