Cyber Security Analyst (M365 / Cloud)
- Please note: Outside IR35.
- Hybrid Working: 2 days on site per week.
Reporting into my clients Information Security Manager, you will be responsible for the technical delivery of Information Security projects. As part of these improvement projects, you will be working through the implications of software and security policy configuration changes and upgrades, cyber security risk analysis and impact on overarching information security policies.
Projects in the pipeline include;
- Security configuration of Microsoft Intune
- Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps (CASB)
- Microsoft Defender for endpoints (content filtering)
- Hello for Business authentication and resulting changes to Conditional Access and other Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Azure policies and components.
Responsibilities:
- Definition of requirements, oversight and SME input for key security projects
- Security configuration updates for Cloud based Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Azure toolsets such as Microsoft 365 Defender Suite, Security and Compliance Suite, ATP, Azure AD, Azure Conditional Access and other security policies
- Providing expert advice and guidance on the requirements for security projects
- Documenting new and updating existing process documents to reflect changes, impact of new solutions and overall cyber security strategy
- Streamline integration between internal and third party services and new Cloud Security and integration components
Required Skills
- Implementation and first hands on knowledge of Microsoft Intune, Microsoft 365 Security and Compliance, Group Policy Management and Windows 10 Security configuration
- Good understanding of modern authentication methods, cloud-based device management and cloud-based intelligent access controls
- Proven track record of delivering security improvements to time, cost and quality controls
- CISSP, CISSM or CISA certification desirable
- ISO 27001 accreditation and experience of implementing such advantageous
