Cyber Security Engineer - Hybrid/London - GBP85,000 + Bonus
My client is based in the London area are currently looking to recruit for an experienced Cyber Security Engineer to join their team. They are one of the leaders within the insurance Industry, and are currently going through a period of growth and are looking for an experienced Cyber Security Engineer to join their team.
Your role will include:
* Identifying and mitigating vulnerabilities within the systems, networks, and applications.
* Ensure vulnerability scans / assessments are run periodically in line with policies and standards across the firm's infrastructure.
* Identify key vulnerabilities and patches from external sources and support the Infrastructure team to ensure timely remediation of these vulnerabilities.
* Proactively seek out potential weaknesses, analysing and assessing their potential impact to the firm
* Review external and internal assessments and penetration test reports to ensure the firm maintains a mature defensive position against cyber threats.

For this role, you will need to support Information Security Team in performing security assessments for projects and other initiatives,. They are looking for a candidate that has experience in...
* Azure Data Platform
* Strong knowledge of AWS and MS365
* Experience configurating and tuning vulnerability management tools (e.g. Qualys, Microsoft Defender).
* Working knowledge of Github
* Experience configurating and tuning SIEM solutions (e.g. Microsoft Sentinel).
* Experience working withing global standards and best practices such as ISO27001.
