Position Summary

The EO Marketing Team’s mission is to deliver a personalised, significant, premium experience to Samsung consumers across a multi-touchpoint ecosystem (website, e-store, social, email, device, app, chat, media) to drive sustainable business growth. We will do this by leading the European strategies which should become the framework of each European market (16 subsidiaries and 31 countries). Role and Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities

  • Champion retail development and new processes across all retail channels

  • Plan and develop new retail processes including insights, operations and marketing

  • Own, Drive and support companywide strategic projects inc Retail Universe

  • Identifying and negotiating property acquisitions, freehold purchases and rent models for new stores - Collaborating with key team members and HQ.

  • Undertake site inspections, development appraisals, P&L inc Capex simulations, legal and planning due diligence on all opportunities

  • Developing and maintaining positive relationships with HQ, local Subsidiaries ,agents, landlords, tenants and developers

  • Being responsible for the full development and planning process from initial concept to final completion within stores

Your key people management responsibilities

  • Provide clarity on strategy, team purpose & value and define the key areas of focus and direction.

  • Support the development of your team through regular mentoring, coaching and feedback, 1:1s and on the job learning opportunities.

  • Role model inclusion for your team to build trust and psychological safety.

  • Ensure communication with your team is a core focus area including cascade of information from LT’s and relevant business updates.

  • Manage the on boarding, off boarding process and the entirety of the colleague lifecycle process for all team members.

  • Manage all annual people management cycles such as goal setting, evaluation and salary reviews to a high quality and in a timely manner.

  • To be accountable for ensuring your team are compliant with company processes and procedures; such as compliance, meeting mandatory business cyclical deadlines, and understanding the company values.

What we need for this role

To be successful, you will possess the following skills and attributes:

  • Experience in Retail Operations and new store opening processes.

  • Excellent analytical and reporting skills including forecasting, KPIs metrics, and P&L management

  • Experience in European real estate (flagship, mainline and concessions)

  • Sound European commercial property and legal knowledge

  • A well-networked individual with refined negotiating skills

  • Sound understanding of Marketing and Event planning

  • The ability to multi-task and handle conflicting deadlines

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills

  • A full driving licence and the flexibility to travel throughout the UK + Europe

What does success look like?

  • Ensure successful implementation of outstanding operations, retail real estate development, and solutions across European markets

  • Identify key locations and find insights regarding the retail operations and KPIs for subsidiaries

  • Reporting to the senior management to support them on DTC planning process from initial concept to completion and then review.
