Job Description

The good news? We’ve just finished the first milestone in turning tech-artists.org into a legal nonprofit! This is going to help ensure the stability and longevity of the site and the community.

The bad news? We’ve only got a couple of months of hosting left. Plus, if we want to get full tax-exempt status – which will make it easier for us to do things like get discount hosting for our online chat, or offer educational programs – we need to raise about the equivalent of a full year’s hosting costs to cover the IRS filing fees.

So … how about hitting the tech-art tipjar to help keep the site up and healthy?

You’ll collaborate with our Technical Art and Core Tech teams to drive technological advancements, improve efficiency, and uphold our high standards of artistic quality.
You’ll work closely with our Art teams to develop and maintain a suite of tools that automate tasks, enhance workflows, and unlock new creative possibilities.
Reporting to the Technical Art Director, you’ll work alongside industry experts, pushing boundaries in our games.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in using Houdini and Houdini Engine for constructing procedural geometry.
  • Strong understanding of art, lighting, and material pipelines.
  • Familiarity with 3ds Max and other art authoring tools.

Location: Nottingham, UK
Work style: Studio / Hybrid
Level: Regular to Lead (can offer visa and relocation – HMU for further info)

This topic will close 3 months after the last reply.
