Job Description

About you:

This role is a great opportunity for a skilled data analyst who is looking for a role where they can really put their stamp on things and hit the ground running in a fast-paced, growing e-commerce business. Working closely with the Head of Data & FP&A, you will work cross-functionally across the Commercial, Finance & Marketing teams to deliver reports, insights and empower the business to become truly data-driven. We’re looking for someone who can drive data narrative behind the numbers and interpret trends and patterns to help drive growth across the business.


Your key responsibilities are:

  • Manage, maintain and develop the Power BI reporting platform
  • Optimise current Power BI dashboards and reports and create new reports as required by the wider business
  • Create interactive visualisations and reports that effectively communicate data findings
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity by performing regular data validation and quality checks
  • Act as an internal expert for Power BI, ensuring its effective and efficient use
  • Work with our third-party who manages our data warehouse, ensuring the database is kept up to date and any required changes are implemented
  • You will constantly look for opportunities for improvement, including automating processes wherever possible
  • Strong communication skills and proactivity are required


Skills & Knowledge

  • Proficiency in Power BI, including Power Query, DAX, SQL, and data modelling
  • Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills
  • Ability to wrangle data to manage sophisticated datasets and find the best possible way to produce desired outputs
  • A basic understanding of the ETL process is desired
  • Previous experience in an e-commerce business required
  • Experience in data analytics
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, at all levels

Location: you will be based in our Northampton office where we are operating hybrid working with 2-3 days in the office and 2-3 days from home. Some flexibility around this will be required.
