Job Description

About The Role

We are looking for a Data business analyst to join our Data & Business Intelligence team currently working on several business-critical projects positioning data at the core of Motability Operations.

This is a data focused role, combining excellent data skills with the ability to understand and translate complex end user requirements into technical requirements and communicate these to numerous stakeholders including product owners and data architects.

The data business analyst role requires familiarity with data models and BI concepts such as facts, dimension, semantic layer and dashboards.

This role requires excellent communication, relationship building and ability to interact with key business users and data engineering teams.

The initial project that the successful candidate will work on is the Micromobility Project, which will deliver a Salesforce implementation to replace PWS-Web and its core functionality (Application process, EOC & Remarketing and MDP). It will also provide a MicroMobility Product & Pricing solution.

Context

The role of the Data Business Analyst is to provide:

  • Business analysis responsibilities on any given project/programme on the IT Roadmap.
The Micromobility project will deliver Salesforce starting with PWS Web replacement and will require:
  • Analysis of the current reporting solution and design of a more automated solution
  • Loading and transforming Salesforce data into the data warehouse
  • Working with the business and the technical team on the detailed requirements
  • Introducing a process to support changes going forward
About You

Ideally you will have experience of business analysis. You must be self-driven, confident communicating with senior stakeholders and ideally will be able to demonstrate experience of operating in an Agile development environment. You will also be able to operate in ambiguous environments and collaborate to provide clarity and direction to those working with you.

Minimum Criteria
  • Experience or good understanding of business analysis
  • Good understanding and experience of working in both a Waterfall and Agile framework
  • Experience of working with Third Parties
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to collaborate across multiples work-streams
