Job Description
Expanding international service provider is looking to recruit an experienced Data Centre Network Design Engineer to work alongside a network architect to provide LLD of data centre network design projects. This includes the design and replacement of the existing PE infrastructure, upgrade of new data centre fabic network and topology to spine-leak as well as various other Edge/DC and firewall related design projects. With strong IP network skills you will have strong firewall experience, ideally Fortigate/ Palo Alto, along with good knowledge of HSRP/VRRP, LAG/LACP, VLANs, ACLs, NAT/PAT, PBR, DHCP, QoS, IPSEC. Strong knowledge of eBGP/iBGP, MP-BGP, OSPFis a must.
My client is open to candidates that have either Cisco, Cisco Nexus or Juniper OS skills. Experience of automation would be a big bonus, not essential, although automation will be part of the role. An understanding of Linux and cloud architecture is required such as AWS/Openstack.
