Job Role – Data Engineer (3 Month Contract)
Salary - Up to £550 per day DOE
Work Pattern – Fully Remote
Start Date – Immediately / Interviews Next Week
The Company
We are looking for Data Engineer to join a very well-established company and data team. They have a huge amount of data, it’s one of the strategic pillars of the company and they are heavily investing in a new system, which will be a vast improvement. They do an awful lot with data, it’s a huge asset to the business and they have a large number of people who have access to their data systems for analytical and insight purposes.
The Role
This is an amazing opportunity for an engineer to work on the development of a new project and exploit the benefits that modern, cloud native data systems can offer.
This is a fully remote role, and they are looking for someone to start immediately! (Please note: This role falls Inside IR35)
Responsibilities
- Champion test-driven quality first engineering practises.
- Collaborate with Architecture to ensure the team deliver value for our business.
- Drive solutions that are scalable and robust and ensure the company deliver quality data
- Working with stakeholders - managing the Analytics Platform, ensuring the platform is reliable, scalable, and secure
- Work alongside a team of engineers to create, maintain, and extend the analytics platform.
- Promote best practice and coding standards.
Must Have Skills:
- GCP
- Python
- DBT
- Google Analytics 314
- Terraform is a bonus!
