Data Insight & Strategy Analyst
London, W1
to £55,000

An opportunity to join the Analytics team of a growing Fintech.

You’ll be responsible for analysing and interpreting data to ascertain the behaviours of customers in the UK. You’ll also play a key role in developing and driving strategic initiatives, influencing strategic decisions and identifying new opportunities for the business. You will be delivering insights to the senior leadership team, helping the business translate numbers into business actions.

Candidate Profile

  1. 2 years + experience in analytics
  2. Quantitative degree (Finance, Economics, Physical Sciences, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering) from a top tier university
  3. Advanced working knowledge of Excel (e.g. array formulas, formula auditing, workbook structure optimisation), Python, R, VBA a plus
  4. Analytical and commercial skills – ability to drive insight from data, determine the commercial and financial impact and recommend action
  5. Strong communication – excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to tell the story that drives action. Ability to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders from senior leadership to technical staff
  6. Structured problem solver – navigate blockers, balance multiple projects and prioritise
  7. Entrepreneurial – proactively develop and promote own ideas and thrive in a start-up environment
