We are working with a global leader in the Life Sciences space with offices across multiple jurisdictions. They are a truly global organisation who are committed to ensuring the development of medical technology to the highest possible standard.
Our client is searching for a junior Data Protection Officer where the applicant will report to the Group GC in an excellent role, where there has been a significant increase in the workload during recent times. Based in London, the role will involve working closely with the General Counsel and other members of the C-suite team. Applicants would have experience working as a paralegal or even as a NQ Lawyer across a variety of transactional and regulatory matters, including cross-border transactions, regulatory proceedings, and privacy and cybersecurity issues.
It is imperative that you will have had exposure to creating relevant privacy operational assets including DPIAs, as well as advising employees on the obligation to comply with UK GDPR. The breadth of work available is excellent, from cybersecurity compliance, incident response and data privacy.
Remuneration: £45K – £55K per annum.
