Our client is a leading global law firm who are seeking a Data Protection Solicitor with c.3+ PQE to join their team in Manchester.
The team advise on a range of UK and EU data protection issues including various policies and procedures, incidence response plans, data protection impact assessments, data-sharing and data-processing agreements, data transfers, compliance projects and corporate support. The teamwork with a broad variety of clients, offering experience across most sectors, with a particular focus on technology, machine learning and AI.
As an Associate/ Senior Associate within the team you will work directly with partners on large, complex UK/EU projects whilst assuming significant responsibilities including mentoring and supervising more junior members. To be considered for this role you will need to have 3+ years’ post-qualification experience of working on complex data protection and cybersecurity matters, gained within a law firm.
