Data Quality Analyst (Data Engineering - NGDP)

We have an exciting opportunity to join us at comparethemarket.com as a Data Quality Analyst. Our agile delivery team works with the latest big data technologies to deliver innovative data solutions to energise a next generation platform. This role will be pivotal in ensuring that the data/solution delivered by the Data Engineering team is tested, validated and monitored to ensure we are delivering high quality products to all our customers. You’ll be responsible for collaborating with the team to define BDD scenarios, working with stakeholders to understand/visualise/explain data quality - the feedback you provide will be invaluable for our team. 

What will it take to be successful as a Data Quality Analyst? 

Extensive experience in data quality and testing 

Experience in an Agile development team developing data heavy solutions as an analyst 

Root cause analysis and problem-solving experience 

An understanding of schema design (structured and Semi Structured) 

Strong data query skills across structured and semi structured data 

AWS stack knowledge e.g., Glue Catalog, Athena and S3, Redshift 

Active learner - keep up to date with developments in your technical and professional area of expertise 

Great communication and stakeholder management skills
