Harnham has partnered with a leading data agency on an interim contract position to support an urgent pricing project for a leading retailer.

THE COMPANY & PROJECT
This agency has recently won a project with a leading clothing retailer that wants to improve its promotions strategy. As part of this, they require a Data Scientist to run deep dives into their pricing structure and its impact on customer behaviour.

THE ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Data Scientist you will be instrumental in developing a promotional strategy to drive the target customer behaviour, day-to-day that will involve:

• Performing Pricing optimisation, forecasting and simulations
• Coding in Python and various Python libraries including PyTorch, Flask, Dash, etc
• Supporting CRM teams with understanding the various segments of customers.
• Working closely with recommendation engines.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
The successful Data Scientist will have the following:

• Strong Python skills, with experience in PyTorch, Flask & Dash beneficial
• A background in Data Science with specific Retail experience
• Strong knowledge of pricing analytics, particularly optimisation, forecasting & simulation
• Ability to start immediately!

THE BENEFITS

• £600-£660 per day
