Job Description

The Company:

SME consultancy with ambitious growth plans, already having gone from 50 to 80 heads in 2022. You won’t want to miss out on being an integral part of their developing analytics consulting arm, headed up by a director with a proven history of success.

Specialising across a wide range of industries including, retail & consumer goods, defence and security, and transportation, what’s not to be interested in??

The Opportunity:

Data analytics is one of the less mature areas of organisation and that’s what makes this such an exciting time to join – you are integral to helping grow out and are shape their offering and capability. There are multiple hires sought to be made within the next couple of months.

You will be expected to apply your data skills to solve a range of business problems including business driven data strategy design, insight through data science and analytics, storytelling with data visualisation, architecture design and data transformation and cultivating lasting data culture.

Whilst there are plenty of opportunities to specialise in a particular area, equally you can explore projects in new areas of interest as and when something arises.

Technology stack really depends on the client and project brief but expect to use a combination of SQL, R and Python along with Tableau or PowerBI and potentially cloud tools including AWS and GCP.

With offices in Central London, Nottingham and Bristol there is plenty of flexibility to accommodate wherever works best for you.

Essential Skills

  • Commercial experience in a data analytics-focused position, e.g. operational research, data strategy or visual analytics
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal – able to clearly articulate yourself to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Programming experience in a widely recognised language
  • Professional experience with a widely recognised visualisation tool
