The Role
As a DB2 L3 DBA, you will support client DB2 databases at L3 level, manage databases and handle issues escalated from L2 plus issue raised by customers. You will be required to leverage your knowledge of IBM DB2 version 10.5 ,11.1 Administration and knowledge of DB2 Replication Server Administration.
Key Responsibilities:
- database access. Adhere to best practices regarding access to and management of databases.
- upgrade, and manage database.
- Database Migrations using Dump/Load, In place Upgrade. Improve database performance and operational excellence.
- database performance and operational excellence.
- database-related application performance issues and recommend solutions.
- Replication setup including table level/Warm Standby/MSA and tuning.
- Replication operation issues.
- with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot live issues, internally or externally reported.
- / Modify automation for repeating database tasks.
Your Profile
Key Skills/Knowledge/Experience:
- knowledge of IBM DB2 version 10.5 ,11.1 Administration.
- knowledge of DB2 Replication Server Administration.
- knowledge of DB2 server installations on standalone/DPF/HADR.
- with Installing, upgrading, and managing database.
- to improve database performance and operational excellence.
- of performing replication setup including table level/Warm Standby/MSA and tuning.
- handling replication operation issues.
- knowledge on Database Maintenance task such as Dbcc, Reorg.
- to create / modify automation for repeating database tasks.
