Job Description
We are working with a major accounting practice outside of the Big 4, which over the next 5 years has ambitious growth plans for its London tax practice. As part of this, it is targeting and working closely with international mid-tier corporates including FTSE 250 businesses.
To augment the drive into this market it is looking for an experienced senior manager/director to work on a delivery focused role. The right person will:
- Work with partners but take the lead role to manage and deliver major UK and international tax advisory projects
- Tackle meaty one-off technical issues for clients
- Be a key point of contact for some of the firm’s major corporate clients
- Work closely with the firm’s international network on projects and one-off technical issues
- Manage and mentor junior team members
The clients will be from a broad range of sectors but may include companies in technology, fintech, real estate, media and FS. As it is a delivery and technical role you will not be judged on your business development capability.
The right person will be an existing senior manager or director, with good international tax and UK corporate tax experience gained either in an accountancy firm or in-house. It is likely the right person will either be a qualified accountant/CTA or qualified by experience.
