Delivery Lead - Defence and Security Consulting

About the Role:
Our client is seeking a dynamic and skilled Delivery Lead to join their esteemed team, providing consulting services to Defence and Security clients. As a Delivery Lead, you'll bridge the gap between our clients' needs and technical solutions, leading teams to solve complex digital, technology, cloud, and analytical problems. This role involves managing deliverables, fostering client relationships, and delivering transformation solutions using agile, waterfall, or hybrid methodologies. You'll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across various locations, making a significant impact on crucial projects.
Key Responsibilities of the Delivery Lead:
- Lead and manage teams to deliver digital, technology, cloud, and data solutions for clients.
- Utilize agile, waterfall, or hybrid methodologies to ensure successful project completion.
- Develop and maintain strong client stakeholder relationships.
- Oversee complex technology/cloud transformations, modern agile software development, and AI/analytics implementations.
- Apply business acumen to identify technical solutions that meet business goals.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Eligible for UK Security Clearance (SC or DV level).
- Proven experience in leading multi-discipline, diverse, and inclusive teams.
- Strong project management skills, including developing plans, managing resources, and meeting deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
- Problem-solving abilities and a knack for making informed decisions quickly.
- Business acumen and understanding of various industries and business operations.
- Familiarity with delivery tools such as Atlassian - Jira, Confluence, MSProject.
- Recognized delivery certifications (Certified Agile, Scrum Master, SAFe Agile, PMP, Prince2 Practitioner, MSP, ITIL).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with the GDS Service Manual and cybersecurity technology stacks.
- Knowledge of common digital delivery technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Oracle, SAP).
- Understanding of regulations and compliance considerations around data management.
