• The Delivery Manager is responsible for leading and managing the successful delivery of technology projects within the Sky Protect Product Delivery team. The Delivery Manager will be responsible for developing project plans, coordinating resources, monitoring progress, and working with Scrum Mastersto ensure that all projects are completed on time and within budget

• Provide structure and guidance to the project and to be the calm voice of reason within the delivery to ensure the focus is on the key priorities

• Report projectprogress using the Sky Protect reporting processes, including maintaining appropriately detailed project plans.

• Work with the Programme & Delivery Lead to ensure that deliverables align with the programme strategy

• Understand the Sky Protect proposition and roadmap so that you can clearly articulate and manage the context of the delivery to ensure it is aligned to the overall strategy

• Monitors progress of projects against established timelines and budgets; takes corrective action as needed

• Manages risks associated with each project; identify potential issues early on and develop mitigation strategies as needed. Provides reports on risks and issues as they develop and are mitigated.

• Establishes communication between stakeholders in order to facilitate collaboration throughout the life cycle of each project

• A proven track record in Delivery Management, working with Agile teams

• Demonstratable experience of delivering technology (software) projects, knowledge of IoT technologies is advantageous but not essential

• Strong senior stakeholder management skills: building relationships with the ability to facilitate decision making and escalation of risks, with proven experience of facing off to director and exec level stakeholders

• Ability to work with high level direction, independently progressing project shaping, set up and delivery

• Excellent communication and leadership skills, which are required to bring people together to achieve a shared goal

• Experience of managing and mentoring scrum masters and other delivery professionals

• Demonstratable experience of delivering technology projects, knowledge of IoT technologies is advantageous but not essential
