We are hiring a Procurement Analyst for our client, a leader in coating and welding services. Position to based in Burnley, UK (permanent role). Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure reliable supply chains. ~ Procurement Strategy Development: Centralized Procurement: Support the centralized procurement team in developing and implementing procurement strategies that align with the company’s goals and operational needs in the EMEAA regions. ~ Contract Management: Contract Negotiation: Assist in negotiating contracts with suppliers, focusing on terms that align with the company’s objectives, such as price, quality, and delivery schedules. ~ Budget Management: Work closely with finance and operations teams to manage procurement budgets and ensure expenditures align with forecasts. Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities within the procurement process. Spend Analysis: Analyse spend data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for optimization. ~ Procurement Processes: Continuously evaluate and improve procurement processes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure compliance. Prepare and present reports on procurement activities, including spend analysis, supplier performance, and market conditions.
