Location: Birmingham area (Lichfield), or Bristol, or Manchester area (Cheadle), or London (Hammersmith)
Reports to: Demand Planning Manager EMEA
Contract type: Permanent, full-time, hybrid working system

Your Role & Team in a Nutshell

As a Demand Planner, your main task will be to craft and uphold a detailed forecast spanning 12 to 24 months for individual products within the Breville, Crockpot, Sistema, and FoodSaver brands across the EMEA region.

You will use current forecasting methodologies and tools to enhance forecast accuracy and minimize forecast bias.
You will be part of team of three, working cross-functionally in a matrix, multicultural organization.

We will help you achieve your goals and develop by providing regular feedback and access to online training courses.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing demand forecasts at various levels of detail and for different time horizons as part of a demand planning function.
  • Reviewing historical sales trends, researching demand drivers, preparing forecast data, developing statistical forecast models, and evaluating forecast results to enhance forecast accuracy.
  • Coordinating cross-functional discussions to reconcile significant variances and refining the forecast model to reflect updated sales and marketing assumptions.
  • Interacting with sales, marketing, and customer replenishment teams to gain insights into demand forecast drivers.
  • Utilising a collaborative and consensus approach by working with Sales, Marketing, and Finance to ensure the use of current and accurate information for demand forecasts.
  • Using MS Excel, SAP APO, Anaplan, and PowerBI within the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) framework as the primary tools.
  • Providing input to the Supply Planning organisation to develop inventory strategies on existing items, new products, and product phase-outs.
  • Coordinating and communicating customer action plans with supply planning.

What You’ll Need

Minimum:

  • Demonstrated experience in forecasting or planning, including any of the following: supply planning, demand planning, material planning, or distribution planning.
  • Good understanding of S&OP processes in an international business environment, including demand & supply planning processes
  • Advance MS Excel skills
