Central London

Hybrid working

Up to £38,000 + Bonus


This is a great opportunity for someone to progress their career in supply chain with a highly innovative food business. Our client supplies a range of innovative food products into the major UK and international retailers and are currently recruiting a Demand Planner in the growing supply chain team in London.


Demand Planner responsibilities:

  • Create timely and accurate demand plans for all product categories within your customer accounts on a weekly, monthly, and promotional basis.
  • Take ownership of forecast accuracy KPIs for your customer accounts, driving root cause identification and corrective actions at the SKU level, and challenging the sales forecast to ensure excellent DPA.
  • Support the development of processes to enhance and challenge the wider business, maximizing the robustness of forecasts provided to supply planning, including NPD project launch planning.
  • Foster strong relationships internally and externally, adopting a collaborative approach to forecasting and other projects.
  • Regularly review customer-level data (e.g., EPOS, stock holding) to assist and challenge the sales team in their forecasting efforts.
  • Contribute to the development of the company's S&OP process, creating new ways of working with different business units, and documenting all forecast assumptions, risks, opportunities, and performance tracking.
  • Collaborate with the wider supply chain team to identify efficiency savings and reduce cost-to-serve.


To be successful:

  • Strong analytical skills with extensive Microsoft Excel knowledge; experience with Power BI and/or Anaplan is a plus!
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to communicate effectively within a team and with customers.
  • Previous demand planning experience in the FMCG sector.
  • High energy and self-motivation to thrive in a rapidly growing business with constantly changing priorities.
  • Proactive in identifying issues before or as they arise.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meeting targets and deadlines.
  • Open-minded with a flexible, can-do, and friendly attitude, adaptable to our constantly changing business environment.
